waitlist information
Hey friends!! By the gods, it impresses me that I had to make information about receiving waitlisted services from Jesselyn of PushingDandelions (that's me!), but here we are.
In all readings, there is a Waitlist section where you get sent here to check the waitlists and information about it. Here, I'm going to explain how to get on the waitlist, possibly decrease your wait time, etc. This will be the complete FAQ! Please refer to the very last paragraph on this page before you start asking me questions. I'll be forever grateful :)
Please check the waitlists themselves to see if there's any updates about the wait times as I will write notes on them every so often to help inform you all! I may post about it on my social medias, but checking the waitlists are the best spot to do it to get updates from me.

What is the waitlist?
Everybody on the waitlists are currently waiting to hear from me about getting their reading next. I did not start any of those readings/services at all. The waitlist lets you get a spot in line for me to able to contact you when I'm ready to do your reading. It also guarantees you to get a service at some point rather than me announcing "I have 5 available!" and then they get all sold out in a few hours when you were at work and missed the announcement, and now are all sad you gotta wait another time. I'm trying to avoid that experience for you! By having a waitlist, you know you will get your reading at some point in time, and you won't be scrambling to try to get a reading from me every time I would announce it on social media.
Additionally on the waitlist, I include an "ACTIVE READINGS" section so you are able to see where you are in terms of other people. These readings the ones that are counting down the days in their turn around time to get their reading back to them.
How do I get on the waitlist?
Once you inquire for a reading that I have a waitlist for, I tend to immediately go to the waitlist and write your first name + the first letter of your last name on the respective list. I label you as "No Deposit" until: I send the invoice to pay, and here you may find that in the invoice itself it says there is a waitlist enacted for this service. Here, you will be able to decide if you want to give me a deposit, pay in full, or pay as you wait. Once I receive any payments, I will go back and update your status to either "Deposited" or "Paid in Full" as necessary.
Please check out the respective waitlist for your desired service! I have information that I write on it every so often, with dates included on when I updated. Here, you will find if I have a waitlist enacted for that service, otherwise you will find out when I send you the invoice as mentioned above.
How do I decease my wait time?
When you ask to be put on the waitlist, please additionally tell me that you would like to put down a $35 Deposit.
This deposit will be nonrefundable, but it does count towards your final payment! So if the reading is $200, and you put down a waitlist deposit of $35, your final price will be $165!
Everybody is allowed to a part of the waitlist, regardless if you put down a deposit or not, but if you put down a deposit I will get to those who put down a deposit first.
You don't have to put down a deposit immediately, but if you realize in a few days/weeks you would like to secure your spot in line, then send me an email wanting to put down a deposit.
Uh, the service that I'm interested in is equal to or less than $50. A $35 deposit is a bit excessive.
You are absolutely right! And you won't pay $35 for a deposit! All readings at $50 or less will have a deposit that is HALF of the service's original price. So, if you're purchasing a $22 reading, needing to go on the waitlist for that reading and want to secure your spot, your deposit will be $11.
Whoa whoa whoa, what's the difference between paying for a deposit vs not paying to be on the waitlist?
Essentially the difference is that you secure your spot in line if you pay for a deposit.
For examples, there is five people on the waitlist for the service that you want, so naturally you would be sixth in line. HOWEVER, if you pay the deposit, you get to bypass ALL five of them and get to be first in line! This is if all five people didn't pay the deposit. Now, say there is two people in line who paid the deposit out of the five, now you will be the third person in line while the other no-deposit-people get pushed down further on the waitlist. It's kinda like getting a fast pass at Disney.
Why do you even charge a deposit to get on a waitlist?
It's common practice to do so, and it's honestly a courtesy for us to even offer a no deposit option. From a business standpoint, it ensures that from both parties that we are serious to deliver a service and you are serious to receive one.
How do I pay for the deposit?
After you send your request to be on the waitlist and saying you want to pay for a deposit, I will send you via email an invoice for $35 through Intuit Quickbooks (or PayPal if you are in International client) that was sent from PushingDandelions within 24-48 hours (not including solitices/equinoxes,"secular" holidays, and likely weekends). Payment options are listed on the About Page. If you're concerned about the email looking fishy, please send me an email with screenshots!
I'm at the top of the waitlist, how long can I expect to finally get contacted?
First of all, please check the waitlist itself to see if I made any notes on it pertaining to wait times! This will be updated as needed and the best spot to check what's going on with the waitlist. You can attempt to look my social medias with what's going on, but the waitlist is best place to check to see what's going on at this time.
Short answer: Honestly, it depends.
Long answer: Generally speaking, if you JUST made it to number 1 when you were number 2, look at the delivery/lead time for that specific service on its listing page. If it normally gets delivered to you within five business days, expect to wait about five business days to finally get sent an email that I can start your reading. This is the best guideline that I can give you at this time.. Also, be sure to check to see how long the waitlists are for the other readings, including both google spread sheets. If there is massive lines for everything, expect things to take longer than you'd hope.
Hey!! I was number 4 in line and you suddenly emailed me that you can start my reading! That's so cool, but like, what did I miss? hahah.
It depends, my friend! That normally happens with divination readings. Since they take about five days in turn around time, I can do a few readings at once to plan over a few days or do a few readings all in one day (depends on my energy level).
What happens when I get contacted that my wait is over?
Yayy~ dance party!!
In all seriousness though, it'll look just like how the service would normally go! I will send you an email saying I can start your reading, and we will be able to chit chat if need be before I send over the final payment. If you were on for a divination reading, I'll send over the invoice and you will have a three-day grace period to pay for the reading. If you take longer than the three days to pay, there is not a penalty other than you may have to wait a little longer before I can start your reading, because I will go to the next person on the list if there is any.
I want more than one service that's waitlisted, can I be waitlisted for multiples?
Yes! If you want to be put down for additional services, you are more than welcome to. However, you will have to put down additional deposits to secure your spots in the lines. Please tell me you want to put down deposits for those as well.
I want to be put on multiple waitlists, but I can only pay for one deposit.
That's fine! Please tell me which service you would like to put the deposit down on. One deposit only holds for one service.
I didn't secure my spot in line with a deposit 3 months ago, can I put down a deposit now to secure it?
Hell yeah, go ahead. Just give me a polite holler in an email, so I can get your invoice sent to you.
Okay, but like, can I put down a higher deposit to bump myself up in line?
No. It's unfair for everybody else to start doing things like that and honestly it makes things even more complicated on our end than it already is to have deposits and no deposits for the waitlists. You are, however, welcome to pay more of your reading before we can get to your reading. Continue to the next question if you want to do that:
Can I do mini payments before you can even start my reading?
Yes! The one nice thing about the waitlist is that you don't have to put money aside as you wait, you can pay it all upfront or pay in small amounts weekly, whatever is best for your situation. If you do this, know that it will not bump you up in line or anything like that. Refer to the previous question if you want to know more about that.
I'm on the waitlist for a reading that also comes with a digital download of a coloring page, can I get the coloring page while I wait for you to be able to get to the actual reading?
Yes! The only things that I ask of you is to please put down a deposit for your reading and then also ask me to send you the coloring page upfront. I'll get that to you shortly!
I've been waiting for MONTHS to get a reading from you, what's taking so long???
Readings in general take up time and a lot of energy. I'm sorry you've had to wait so long to get your reading, but unfortunately I'm only human at the end of the day. By the way, did you secure your spot in line with a deposit? You should probably do that if you didn't.
This is taking too long. I want to get my money back and get off the list.
If you want to get off the waitlist for any reason whatsoever, please send me an email about this. I will (sadly) take you off the waitlist, but you will not receive a refund. As mentioned previously, it's a nonrefundable deposit. If you paid more than the deposit, it is solely up to PushingDandelions discretion if we will refund you for anything else extra you paid. We are not required to give you a reason if we decide to not give you what else you paid additionally.
Yo, there wasn't a waitlist when I sent you an email originally, what gives?
You managed to get in the spot where I realize I need to put up a waitlist because I got overloaded with requests! I'm sorry about that. In the case of that happening, I will send you an email directly to let you know that I needed to open a waitlist for that service you requested. I'll let you know if you have to be waitlisted or if I can start your reading promptly.
My name disappeared on this waitlist?! I didn't cancel it either!!
If you saw your name on the list and it's now missing... CONGRATS HOMIE, check your dang email because I emailed you about now being able to start your reading!
I still have questions on how this works, how can I contact you about it?
If your question is not answered here, please say that in your email that it's not here or need clarification on a specific question. If you do not tell me that the question isn't here, I will either A) Not answer your email at all, or B) Send you a link to this very page. I need you to do this because I straight up forget what was already answered here and it would help me out a ton if you could read the FAQ first instead of me repeating myself in emails. I want to spend my time on completing services as much as possible!! For questions pertaining to the waitlist, please exclusively ask me via email at dandelionspushed[at]gmail[dot]com and not on social media!! I cannot guarantee at all if I'll be able to answer your question about the waitlist on a tiktok video because I unfortunately miss comments sometimes..Thank you for your understanding. If your question was not on the FAQ, I will end up adding it here in the future for other folks, but I will answer you directly by email at first.
