PushingDandelions is a polytheist and divination-based company founded and owned by Jesselyn who an intuitive illustrator, seeress, prophetess, psychic medium and High Priestess of King Hades.
My name is Jesselyn (Jess-ah-lyn) and I started actively practicing divination when I started university, so nearly 10 years as of 2023, but my spiritual journey started much earlier. Arguably, it started when I was about 13 years old when the repeating numbers started (and never stopped!), but I always was fascinated and questioning the status quo of religion ever since I could talk.
I earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Studio Art with an emphasis in Illustration officially in early 2021. Expressing myself through art has always been a constant as well throughout my whole life. During 2020, my polytheist roots took hold in a whole new way and I felt connected to myself + the world around me more than ever. I then discovered I could connect with divine beings especially well through my artwork. Since then, I have been creating artwork to help others connect to the Hellenic Divine as well as the Infernal + Demonic Divine thus also expressing my love and admiration for them.
I discovered that I am a seeress and prophetess. A seeress and prophetess, to me, are similar titles so you may call me whatever one you wish. I am a firm believer all people have access to clair-senses should they choose to cultivate them, however, not all is meant to utilize them in a public fashion hence these terms. A seeress and prophetess is someone who is meant to connect and communicate with divine beings and otherworldly spirits, thus providing their divine wisdom and messages to the land of the living. I see myself as not a teacher but someone who simply provides what I receive. These higher beings are forever changing, and rapidly in comparison to the human realm, thus it is necessary for seeresses and prophetesses to speak up the new words they receive from the Divine. We cannot be limited to solely academic texts and previous written word from hundreds of years ago because we are meant to not live in the past but reach towards the future. We are the writers of the new stories that has been vastly under-written due to the speed of spiritual realm vs the human realm. It is up to you should you decide to follow the light from guiding torch I carry with me as I walk with these higher beings.
Additionally, I am a psychic and a medium. I can see pieces of the future with or without aid from a spiritual entity, as well as communicate with deceased human spirits. Not all beings are capable of psychic intuition, however all are able to learn divination methods that help them tap into these reservoirs of potential futures. As a medium, I am capable of communicating with and seeing deceased humans spirits whether they are crossed over or not.
In terms of being a High Priestess to King Hades, I have dedicated myself to specifically sharing His words in all the ways He desires, as He is the one I communicate with the most daily in the Hellenic Pantheon. Although in general, I am meant to help people be guided to Him whether you have unknowingly had Him around your whole life or you are simply curious about Him and want to cultivate a relationship with Him. I am here to help others understand who He really is--He is so much more than what the media has portrayed Him as and He has changed from His original literature. I hope one day everyone sees how loving and colorful He truly is in His own way. King Hades welcomes all people to his realm's afterlife as well as His loving embrace should you decide to honor and respect Him and His wishes--even in death He will house you if you find yourself not at Home in other afterlives. It would be wise to understand Him when alive as a result to be seen favorably regardless of your potentially desired afterlife. Overall, my job with Him is varied and still coming to light. We have several projects up our sleeves that we look forward to being able to share with you all one day. As well as I look forward to whatever else King Hades has hiding for me as well.
